Dr. Aidan T Parkinson
Dr. Aidan T Parkinson is a Principal Building and Energy Management Systems (BEMS) Engineer based with AtkinsRéalis in South-East England. Aidan has inter-disciplinary experience in the performance of building services in operation and ecosystem management. Over more than 15-years of professional practice, he has acted as discipline technical authority of projects within the commercial, hospitality, blue light, aviation, cultural and mission critical sectors. He is a graduate of the Cambridge Centre for Sustainable Development, UCL and Heriot-Watt University. Aidan is a member of the AtkinsRéalis Building Technologies Group. He also contributes to professional development through his membership of CIBSE and as an administrator of the Commonwealth of Peoples. He is the author of the books: “Ecosystem Alarm Management, A Manifesto in Systems Architecture”, and; “Cene”.
